Modular 33

jun togawa
Jun Togawa

New wave japanese pop from the 80’s was a special kind of batshit, but most of it’s best came from the female side. Voices that knew no range boundaries, lyrics that made no sense and some of the best saccharine fueled melodies that ever graced the airwaves. Some of them went global, some found their success writing for others and a big number of them just dissolved in crate digging purgatory. In this edition, Kadgi takes us through some of his favorites and Teixen feeds our starving goth with the likes of Fragrance, IAMX, Opale and Jonathan Bree.
